TPS が Save Our Science キャンペーン
NASA の予算縮小で危機感を募らせている米国惑星協会が Save Our Science という草の根キャンペーンを張っていろいろ運動しているようです．
The House Appropriations Committee has proposed cutting $550 million from the 2007 NASA budget requested by the administration. These cutbacks will aggravate an already severe funding shortage for NASA science programs, and will push programs in space science research, astrobiology, and the search for life in the universe to the breaking point. This is your chance to make yourself heard in support of the space science programs that brought us Hubble, the Mars Rovers, Stardust, Cassini-Huygens, New Horizons, and many more exciting projects. Write your Congressional Representative and Senators today!
上院議員にメールを送ろう！なんてやっています．なんか某探査機の勝手にキャンペーンを彷彿とさせるような文言…（笑）．
しかも議員に電子メールや手紙を送るための専用フォームまで設置されているという至れり尽くせりなキャンペーンです．文面も用意してくれているけど（もちろん編集は可能），個人的には自分の言葉で書いたほうが良いと思いますけどねえ．
それにしても向こうでは米国惑星協会がこうやって強力なキャンペーンを張ってくれるというのは，ちょっとうらやましいですねえ．なぜ日本惑星協会はこういう運動はやってくれないのでしょう．
