ちなみに，宇宙ロボットフォーラムは実は新しい試みではなく，かつて 20 年ほど前もに NASDA 主催で行われていました．その結実が ETS-VII だったという話があります．

The National Space Development Agency (NASDA) funds the Space Robot Forum, a group that brings together members from government, industry, and academia to recommend directions for space robotics. It has urged the development and extensive use of so-called third-generation robotics systems that operate with little human intervention.

The Space Robot Forum, a prestigious 70-member group from Government, industry, and academia, funded by the National Space Development Agency (Nasda), recently outlined an ambiguous schedule for "third-generation" space robotics.
